Personal Data – Darkwind

For the game “Darkwind: War on Wheels”, the following items of personal data are stored:

• Your email address. This is provided when you sign up for the game, and is required in order to occasionally notify you of important information within the game, and to facilitate password recovery.
• Your IP address. This is recorded automatically when you log into the game, and when you post on the game’s forums. It is required in order to authenticate certain activities and to support security measures such as mitigating denial-of-service attacks.

None of this data is shared with a 3rd party. It is kept securely within a password-protected MySQL database, and will be kept for as long as it deemed necessary for the running of the game.
